No. Nativ’s current checks are deliberately limited. It does not inspect document contents, browsing activity, Wi-Fi names, passwords, or printer jobs.
Does it need an internet connection?+
No. The complete current troubleshooting experience works locally. Nativ does not send repair requests, diagnostics, or usage data to a backend.
Can it change something without asking?+
Read-only checks can run when you ask Nativ to investigate. Every trusted repair and setting change is reviewed first, requires an explicit action from you, and is checked again afterward.
Is this remote technical support?+
No. There is no remote technician controlling your screen. Nativ is software running on your own Mac, and you remain in charge.
What works today—and what is still early?+
The Settings Palette is the most complete capability today: 40 reversible on/off settings across appearance, Dock, Finder, keyboard, trackpad, screenshots, accessibility, windows, the menu bar, and time—plus Dock Position. Automatic repair is intentionally limited. Nativ can turn on a confirmed-off Wi-Fi radio after approval; storage, printing, and performance currently provide focused checks and guidance. New auto-fixers are added one at a time.
What goes online?+
Nothing from the app. Diagnosis, recipe search, optional local-model inference, repair history, and exported reports remain on your Mac.
